Hi All,

It's been quiet the last few months with #webperf meetups, mostly due to the pressure of delivering to clients and keep the business running.

But to make it up, we're bringing you a full day, unconference, event: www.WebPerfdays.org!

After succesful editions in Santa Clara and London (as a followup to Velocity Conferences), it's time for a WebPerfDays in the Netherlands.

WebPerfdays is an "unconference" conference that brings the web performance community together. An event inspired by the ever popular DevOpsDays (http://devopsdays.org/). The WebPerfDays will be a mix of keynotes and unconference sessions.

The unconference concept means that we will not only have several keynote speakers, like Aaron Peters, Andy Davies, Joshua Bixby and others. But next to that, you will get the chance to participate actively in breakout sessions with your peers and experts like Steve Souders and Remy Sharp. The topics will be handpicked by the audience, such as mobile performance optimization, performance culture, caching, site reliability or metrics & monitoring.

Since it's a full day conference we will have to limit the seating and ask for a small entrance fee. Just to make sure that we all have enough food & drinks in a proper location. Register via: http://webperfdaysamsterdam.eventbrite.co.uk/#

Any questions or want to volunteer for an unconference session, mail me at jtjepkema@measureworks.nl.

We hope to see you there!

Cheers,

The Dutch performance meetup team,

Jeroen

Enno

Peter

P.s. We're building the schedule as we speak, so check the site regurarly for updates about e.g. speakers
