I am a mathematical programmer working on household energy data. I use applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and programming, in order to reveal patterns on data that normally people are not even able to imagine about. I am able to use my intuition to overcome the gaps which arise by using reason. This data analysis, as a comercial project, leads households to energy savings.
At schooling years my teachers thought that I am a person on the edge of special needs and I would never make it to the university. After entering the university, dyslexia had boosted my path. It was responsible for my PhD and Post-Doctoral sudies, which was about data visualization and artificial intelligence. It gave me the perspective to have some unique scientific achievements. Now, on my professional career, it has given me the "big picture" which is needed for very complex problem solving.
I would like to meet and chat with other dyslectic people, see how they think, and learn by them. Dylexia symptoms are so unique and so exciting to think about them!
By a random search on this site. I feel so lucky that I found a group like that!
I always thought that "something goes wrong with me". My way of thinking was very different from other people's. I am able to see the reality from various angles. I was diagnosed of dyslexia few years ago, and then everything was explained...
