The 2nd annual Marine Corps League Mud Run SMASHED the first year's participant numbers. 2010 had over 1300 runners...2011...over 2400...an 86% increase! It was an incredible effort put on by an incredible group of people. Over 100 volunteers helped make this event the huge success that it was. One interesting note from the event: Pepsi Beverages Company of Winston-Salem, NC sent over 70 people to participate in the event as part of their Valor and Fitness programs.
