October EB New Tech Meetup - Mobilen: Last Call, New Venue & Sponsor

From: Mia D
Sent on: Sunday, October 23, 2011 9:05 PM

Hi Everyone!

I am sure you're just as excited about our Meetup on Monetization of Mobile Apps this Thursday! We'll kick off the evening with a discussion of different monetization models and review price points for mobile apps for the leading platforms.

We'll follow that with great insights from our guest speaker - Senthil Kumar, who has a day job at eBay but has been developing highly popular educational apps for over 3yrs. His apps are top-rated on iTunes and available on many other platforms - Android, Chrome, Intel Appup, Samsung HDTV. You can learn more about his firm at We'll hear his perspective on developing and monetizing apps in a highly competitive mobile category.

Couple of critical updates, first being that we have a great new venue thanks to our wonderful sponsor, Kathy Young of Details are included in the meeting details.

We have very limited space so please take a moment to update your RSVP and if you can't make it, do free up that spot for folks on the waiting list. We track all attendees and no-shows will be removed from the group. NO EXCEPTIONS!

On Thursday, November 10th, we will have a session on a very critical topic for all entrepreneurs - protecting your Intellectual Property (and your hard work) led by IP expert and attorney Gerald Prettyman. More details to follow shortly.

Word from our Sponsor:

A big thank  you to our new sponsor, Serve by American Express, which is the first API that American Express is opening up to developers. They are very interested in helping developers build payment APIs and products that make users successful and happy. We'll provide more information on this platform in our upcoming sessions on working with APIs - social and others.

And that's all for now!

Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
