"Bring a Problem Night" - June 19th East Bay Ruby Meetup

Hello Everyone,

For this month's East Bay Ruby Meetup (June 19th), we would like to try something fun and different: "Bring a Problem Night."

We are asking members to do a 1-5 minute "lightning talk" to describe a problem that you would like to share with the group, either to get some help, or simply to share some of your valuable and interesting experiences working with ruby and/or rails. Your talk could focus on a bug that you encountered (and fixed?), an approach to a problem that you faced, a tool, gem, or plugin that you used to solve a problem, or whatever you think would be of interest to the group!

In some cases, if you would like some help solving a problem, we can break up into small groups for about 1/2 hour to discuss and try to fix them, with each group presenting their solution back to the entire meeting for discussion.

Please don't be shy, or feel as if you can only talk about big, "profound" issues. We really want to encourage everybody - from novices and experts - to share your ideas and experiences!

In order to facilitate the organization of the meeting, please send ahead of time, to the meeting organizers, a brief description of the problem/topic that you would like to present:

Will Sobel: [address removed]
Allan Miller: [address removed]
Ed Allen: [address removed]

We look forward to some interesting presentations and discussions on June 19th! Thank you.

The East Bay Ruby Meeup will meet on June 19th at 6:00 PM, as usual, at Dabble - 2029 University Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704.
