VOLUNTEER FOR THE STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/3/7/0/2/event_244154082.jpeg
This festival celebrates the start of Summer.
This is a tiny festival in a tiny park in a beautiful part of the West End of Vancouver.
This festival is being organized by senior citizens for senior citizens and for the whole community.
THEY NEED OUR HELP
HELP handing out flyers and telling people about the festival on the day of the festival.
HELP serving strawberry shortcake to senior citizens.
HELP taking down tents, tables and chairs.
THEY NEED MANY HANDS TO DO ALL OF THIS.
If we can't find a job for you, you might want to enjoy the festival and chat with seniors. Many seniors have interesting stories to tell and can help you understand our culture. Many seniors would love to talk to you.
THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO VOLUNTEER.
MEETING PLACE:
In front of KGIC on Robson (1400 Robson)
MEETING TIME:
Between 9:30am and 9:45am.
I'm hoping that some of you will want to stay all day or come back to help clean up and put things away.
HOPE FOR LOTS OF SUN.
If you have a question for me on that day, you can text or call me. My number is 778-321-2148. My name is Michael.
