Welcome to Eager Explorers Near Pasadena! This Meetup group is all about meeting good friends in a safe environment, while exploring Pasadena and vicinity. There are plenty of fabulous venues to visit and fun events to check out, not just in Pasadena, but also in Glendale, San Gabriel Valley, San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, and beyond.
Multiple times every month or perhaps even more frequently, our Eager Explorers will venture around our newly discovered points of interest throughout Southern California. Whether you love hiking, dining, theatrical productions, happy hours, live music, coffee, festivals, museum hopping, Halloween and Christmas lights strolling, or the occasional day trips further away, Pasadena and vicinity have plenty to offer you!

Being only 20 miles from downtown Los Angeles, Big Santa Anita Canyon has its share of history. Gold searchers found their way there as early as the 1850's. They didn't go home wealthy, but their journey resulted in the construction of the first of today's hiking trails. Read more
