Are you curious about and interested in the current climate change that the Earth is undergoing?  We want to understand the Earth and its climate change and how we can live with it and support one another through the worst of times ahead since it is certain to impact all humanity!  We want to connect with people who feel the same way -- that climate change is important and necessitates that we understand the Earth and its sustainability requirements for life.  We normally expect to meet every Tuesday evening.

 

We assume that Friends of Gaia meeting at Humanist Hall will be humanist-friendly people who enjoy scientific thinking.  We can show films relating to systems science, Earth sciences, and climate change on our large movie screen.  If people would like to, we can start with Alder Stone's slides and films which are designed to be understood by everyone -- but we have many other worthy resources as well.  And we encourage meetup participants to bring their own resources -- material, ideas, and experiences -- to share.  We will have round table discussions to communicate what we are learning and experiencing.  We want to integrate our understanding of the Earth with how we live our life in community with people and all life forms!

 

We are asking our Meetup participants to RSVP by the Monday before our Tuesday meetings and we are asking for a $5 donation per meeting.  Everyone is also welcome to sign up for Alder Stone's course on his website at:
