Earth Rise is a new gathering for those who have made a deep connection with Nature and want to honor that. (Check out the "About Us" link on the left). We meet on various days for music, reflection, and fellowship, and then organize a number of projects such as habitat restoration for people to participate in. Earth Rise is a nontheistic (humanistic) congregation arising from the Ethical Culture movement. Our belief is in living gently and loving this world rather than wondering about the next. We are also people who believe that our reverence for Life needs to be measured by our commitment to act to help preserve and heal our Earth. We also offer a Sunday School program where children are nurtured to find their ethical best, and to develop a spirit of action. The congregation is still in its formation stage, and we welcome your participation.

Join us on Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. with the whole Ethical Society as we celebrate the bounty of our Earth. The music filled event (including music by Max ZT, the Ethical Society Chorus, and noted pianist Gerald Ranck. The main address will be given by Curt Collier who will be speaking on "The Sustainable Table - the future of American Agriculture. Read more
