Body Harmonics -- Reiki Workshop -- Group Discussion on Healing Energies

NOTE: NEW DATE AND TIME IS SUNDAY 1/31 @ 2 PM

In this workshop, we will go over various forms of energy healing both with direct contact to long distance. Most folks have only heard of reiki, seen a gong, been to a singing bowl healing session where quartz crystal or Tibetan bowls are played. Perhaps you are curious about the chakras, the word "Namaste" or "kirtan" or "aum" You are in the right place!

This week, we are blessed with a guest Makiko -- who is a Vortex healer - and a practitioner taught Usui and traditional Japanese Reiki who combines spirituality into energy healing practice. She teaches how one can heal herself by use of prayer, meditation, and focus.

Bring your notebook or journal, wear comfortable clothing and maybe jot a few questions ahead of time. If you have "sound" percussion whether a bell or chime or perhaps a wooden frog or rainstick, please bring them to share with others.

After a shortl break for bit of vegetarian food we will continue by making sound using non-drum sources. If others so choose, we may include light drumming later on

Suggested Donation is $15 - 20 but none are turned away.

Parking is free downtown on Sundays. If there aren't any meters, continue on Bayard St and cross George St traffic light. About 200' on the left, just past the TD bank is a driveway marked: Promenade to Livingston and CITY HALL. This is a convenient parking lot.

Do NOT park in the bank. It is not recommended that you park in a loading area even though others do.
