A warm WELCOME to all of you who are new to The Sage Table, where we focus on seasonal, organic, healthful, wholesome, nourishing food that tastes fresh and delicious.

There is great energy brewing around home cooking these days, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity in my classes to teach you to cook delicious, nourishing food and to share with you my passion and knowledge that I have gained after more than 20 years of cooking. I am ever more aware of the important role that home cooking plays as a nourishing and grounding activity that connects us to the friends and family with whom we share it. Using local, seasonal foods that we have sourced consciously, we connect with the place we live and the cycles of the Earth while supporting invaluable local - not global - food systems. Taking time out of our busy lives to prepare a meal, we engage in a ritual as old as humanity.

I hope you will join me to warm your heart and belly in my kitchen and around my table soon! Classes are all held in my beautiful and comfortable kitchen in Berkeley. Each class is small, usually 5 to 7 students, and meant to teach you as much as possible in the time we are together - about home cooking, local food sources, and general tips to make delicious and healthy food easily. After we cook, we get to sit down together to dine and connect, talk about food issues, and have a little party of community and great food around the table.

Also, please note that The Sage Table is a small business and that there is a charge for classes, which is stated in each class description. For more information, please have a look at my website: www.thesagetable.com

My goal is to inspire you to spend more time in your kitchens making tasty food that will allow you to take better care of yourself and the people you love. Come visit soon.

Warm regards,
Dara Merin
