Parlour
Details
When the owners of Bar 355 opened Parlour (http://parlouroakland.com) about a month ago, I was intrigued:
Parlour is one of the Uptown district’s newest eateries and the latest labor of love from the partners behind the iconic Bar 355. Linda Bradford, Travis Dutton, and Patrick Lynch have been planning a restaurant since the beginning of their partnership, and Chef Jason Tuley’s cuisine is perfectly suited to the owners’ vision of a seasonal, chef-driven menu that draws upon the bounty of top-quality local producers.
Chef Tuley’s deep background in Italian and California cuisine takes advantage of the beautiful wood-fire oven that is the centerpiece of the open kitchen, while bar managers Travis Dutton and Patrick Lynch handcraft classic and modern cocktails to compliment their unique beer selections. Sommelier Scott Salvatierra rounds out the beverage program with a carefully curated international list that focuses on approachable, affordable wines to pair with the restaurant’s seasonal menu.

When I saw this picture on 510Foodie (http://510foodie.com/2015/04/12/parlour-more-than-pizza/), my mouth watered - I need these Meatballs in my life. And if we eat in a group, we can try other things on the menu (http://parlouroakland.com/menus/) too like Pizza, Pasta and Pork. There are ten spots and it’s $2 to save your seat (and help cover those meetup fees). The plan is to order lots of dishes, eat family-style and share everything, so try to bring cash and it will be easy to split the bill. Hope you can join us!
