We are a community of moms desiring to build friendships with other moms in the East Bay and provide a weekly playtime with our little kiddos. 

We are mamas in our 20s and 30s with kids born between 2006-2011, and would love to make new friends in the East Bay. If your kids are older or if you're expecting, you are certainly welcome to join this Meetup group.  We like exploring and finding fun and free places to hang out with our toddlers and infants in 4 cities in the East Bay - Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, and San Leandro.

We meet regularly - Tuesdays from 10:30 AM to 1 PM - and would love for you to join us! Our schedule is more active during the academic school year, taking a break for the holidays and summer. Come and play anytime during those hours, whatever works for your kids' schedule. Take a look at our calendar for upcoming Meetups around the East Bay.

Beginning in 2012, we are making some changes to our Playgroup schedule. Every Tuesday except the first one of the month, we are starting a Mommy and Me Educational Playtime at Creekside Community Church. It's located at 951 MacArthur Blvd in San Leandro. Our first Mommy and Me Educational Playtime will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, JANUARY 17, 2012. It will be a free, safe, and fun indoor play space for infants through pre-K kids with age-appropriate toys and activities. 

  We also have other Meetups throughout the month - play dates, stroller walks, free museum visits, coffee shops, and moms night out. These Meetups are hosted by a variety of moms all over the East Bay. Let us know if you have any ideas for future Meetups or would like to help host.

This group is open, and we'd love for you to request to join, but it will be private for the safety of our members. Thanks for understanding! If you become an "East Bay Mama," please stay active and come to at least 1 Meetup every 6-8 weeks. We understand sometimes it's hard to stay connected with little ones or things come up. If you're not able to stay active or get involved, this might not be the best Meetup group for you.
