Proto Night comes to Oakland - Idea people bring it on
Details
East Bay Rails is delighted to host Craig Muth's Proto Night at Oakland's Tech Liminal.
If you haven't heard, Proto Night is: "Networking, collaboration, motivation, learning, uniting idea people with developers, finding people you hit it off with!"
The idea is to pair off developers with idea people for a two hour round of programming. You know, to build a prototype.
If that sounds great, it's because it is great. I went to one of the first Proto Nights Craig hosted, and I had a blast.
Here's how it works. If you're a developer, bring a laptop. If you're an idea person, bring an idea. You will be matched up with someone (luck of the draw!), and you go as far as you can in 2 hours. Here's the best part: even though - technically - this is a Rails meetup, you can and should work on anything you and your pair feel worthwhile. That may or may not be Rails based, and that's ok.

And make sure to RSVP!
See you there.
