Sorry i missed the meeting. i spent 20 minutes looking for the location and asked several people with no success. i came home and looked at the ariel view and am going to try and locate prior to the next meeting. tried to pull up the directions again, but the system would not let me. Maybe a phone number would be helpful for first time attendees.

Always a lovely group to meet with and I'm constantly amazed at the technical skill of our members.

Inspiration everywhere with all the lovely show and tell pieces that Jennifer brought. Such a great addition to our little group.

Hi Leilani, I'm looking forward to this meeting, but even before we meet I have a question for you or the group: I want to buy one of the very small pressing irons (and one of the pressing boards). Do you have a recommendation? Thanks.

Ruthanne, I've been remiss about checking messages on this site. Don't have a recommendation as the one I have, I never use as it gets much too hot. Be certain that whatever you get has a temperature control. The pressing board most people prefer is the one that has the printed canvas grid on the pressing side and the green cutting mat on the reverse. It has a handy cut-out handle. All quilt shops carry them,

Looking forward to this meeting. This will be my first time, what shall I bring? Is there an address yet?

I've been told that Carol will be bringing all her scrumptious sashiko threads--Hida, Olympia, silk, hand dyed, etc., besides a lovely assortment of fabrics. Also, the generous Pam Wyman has donated a bag of boro workpants for us to share for future projects. And, if the gods are smiling, I will have both fronts and the back of my sashiko coat done for show and tell. It's going to be a great meet-up. Be there or be square. (tee hee)
