This group was created to get to know other former east coast-ers now living in Portland, whether you moved here last week or ten years ago.  As wonderful as Portland and Portlanders are, it's always great to meet other people who have moved here from the east coast, especially the Northeast.  Moving across the country can often feel like moving to another country- different senses of humor, different values, different interests- and it'd be great to be able to get together for drinks, dinner and conversation.

    "I'm a NYC transplant in NC moving to PDX! Can't wait to get out of the south. Too hot and too bible belt. I'm planning on moving in July so it would be great to get to know some East coast peeps. I hope PDX is an easier adjustment than NC."
