October 2010 is Book Suggestion Month! Two more weeks until it's over!

Hi, everyone. :-)

I trust that you all by now received my e-mail about how this month, October 2010, is the time to e-mail me suggestions for books to discussion meetings next year as well as the instructions related to making your suggestions.

It's now been two weeks since I made that announcement. So far, I've only received six suggestions for contemporary books and two suggestions for classic books.

Basically, I am letting you all know the current status of the number of suggestions I've received and am strongly encouraging everyone who hasn't made suggestions for contemporary and/or classic books to give me some more suggestions so that we could have a sizable book selection poll. I imagine that some of you are assuming that other people will make book suggestions without realizing that others may be thinking the same way. :-) Of course, others may still be figuring out which book to suggest, which is also understandable.

With that, we have two more weeks until this month is over. If you haven't done so, think about suggesting a book or two (preferably one contemporary book and one classic book). Remember, the East Bay Book Club functions based on what its members want to read. This is your chance to suggest books you'd like to read and discuss.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to e-mail me. I look forward to any additional book suggestions for 2011. :-)

Regards,
Anthony Lee
