Wednesday East Valley Writing Workshop Meetup

Please note that this meeting is scheduled for 3 Hours from 6 to 9 PM.

This is an informal gathering every week that is designed to promote feedback on work, and to highlight the strong parts of one's work as well as ideas to improve weaker portions. Everyone attending is encouraged to bring pieces to read as they are comfortable with. Poems, Essays, and stories are all free game. Generally, anything over 4-6 pages will be read over several sessions. We recommend bringing extra copies if you can.

The general flow is some gab time at first. Then people will read the works out loud (or ask someone else to) one at a time and usually ask for feedback. Some people want help with their work, others might just want grammar lessons. If someone has lots of feedback, it is usually best to mark up a copy and hand it back.

If someone has to leave early, let everyone know so your work can be read first.
