Networking and Word-of-Mouth are the most effective ways to promote your business, bar none! There is a huge surge of it taking place in Ottawa thanks to the LAN meet-up group.
For the several weeks, this group has met on Wednesday mornings from 10 to 11:30 am. It is informal, no fees, no rules and very well attended. Amazing collaborations are taking place. We are getting 18 people each week at this point and are looking for more.
By moving this into Meetup.com, we are hoping to spread the word and cut down on administration to keep this running. We will continue to hold this event each week as long as people want to attend.
Come out and try it. You won't be disappointed.
