A meetup for Seattle/Eastside people who are interested in learning about and sharing information on Agile software development practices of all flavors... Scrum, XP, FDD, Kanban, etc.
The goal is to have monthly gatherings at facilities on the Eastside AND in Seattle, where group members gather, a presentation is given followed by Q & A, and then the group can informally meet and discuss subjects of interest. The group members will be polled in order to determine subjects of interest, and then we'll recruit experience Agile practitioners from inside and outside the group to offer presentations that address the topics members have introduced.
The group also has access to a Meetup.com-provided message board that we can use to facilitate communications between members. Maybe you have a question about how to execute on an Agile practice, or maybe you're not sure if an Agile practice would work in a particular situation, or even which Agile practice to consider. That's okay... we'll all help each other out.
There's a lot of good software companies in the Seattle metropolitan region, and we all can learn from each other. Welcome aboard!
