Many people view Scrum as just one of many ways to manage software projects. Scrum is more than that, however. As Ken Schwaber says, "Scrum is really an organizational change process."

What does that mean? How does Scrum change your organization? For this meeting we'll discuss how the Scrum processes create an environment that fosters positive change in reaction to the stress of meeting commitments, much as physical exercise fosters positive change in the human body. Recognizing these forces and using them to improve and mature your processes is the key to high performance, just as the stress of specific physical training can improve athletic technique and performance.

We'll start the social/networking portion of the meeting at 6 pm. Come and enjoy free Quizno's sandwiches and soft drinks and talk with other Agile enthusiasts. The presentation will start at 7pm and run for an hour followed by a Q&A session. Please RSVP and let us know if you'll be joining us for dinner or just for the meeting.
