Adobe CreateNOW! Bash on March 9, 2013 at the Kirkland Performance Center

See the invitation below:

Pacific Northwest Adobe Users Group's CreateNOW! Bash Hi Susan,

May I post an event announcement and invitation to the members of the Eastside Camera Club? I think this event will be of interest to them.

Here are the details.

In conjunction with Adobe, the Pacific Northwest Adobe Users Group is hosting a CreateNOW! Bash. The Bash is a day long event, equal parts party, Adobe roadshow and multi-session workshops for specific interest groups. This being an Adobe event, one of those interest groups is, of course, photography.

The Photography Workshop has 2 sessions. David Julian, a widely published photographer and mixed-media artist, will be discussing creative Photoshop techniques for photographers and Steve Laskevitch, author of Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 4: a Photographer's Handbook, will be taking an in-depth look at some of Photoshop's most useful features.

I think these sessions will be of special interest to members of the Eastside Camera Club because there will be extensive Q&A time with both speakers — an opportunity to meet and discuss important challenges and issues in a collegial atmosphere with both the speakers and other photographers.

For those interested in video, there are similar sessions featuring Premiere and After Effects.

The website for the event is www.createnowseattle.com.

As always, there will be food, swag and cool stuff to be raffled off, including 4 12-month subscriptions to Adobe's Creative Cloud (which includes Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects and Premiere) and a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet.

I'm not sure if this will be of interest to most photographers but Cimtech will be there doing a live demo of their very hot desktop 3D scanner and 3D printer. I have seen this and it is awesome.
Thanks.

Yours,
Diane Pobol
