Matt Dyor just wrapped up Demo Day for the 2nd batch of startups for the Azure-focused Microsoft Accelerator. Having managed two of these programs, he has seen some patterns of what helps startups make fast progress. This will be an action-oriented, startup to do list of 20 activities that you can do to establish lift-off velocity.
This is halfway a forcing function for me, because my co-founder and I are in the early stages of launching our new startup. Being intentional and focused about startup activities is super important for me right now.
This is also the first CEO series where we are shifting the format. We are going to have a smaller number of sign ups (15) and have the meetup in the nice seats. This is partially to have a higher quality environment for a smaller crowd. There will also be a $10 fee to increase the likelihood that people who sign up show up.
