Easy-Embedded is back with a slice of Pi :)
On 16-17th August, we are organizing our first Raspberry-Jam ...a fully fledged 2 day workshop aimed at teaching programming to Raspberry-Pi enthusiasts.
Here's what the program will look like :
day1: Rpi 101
Session on Linux coming data commands
Getting started with Raspberry Pi
- Setup of OS, Network
- Secure Shell (ssh)
Programming Rpi in C - On board Interfaces (GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C)
- Interfacing RPi with Sensors
day2: Advance Programming
Using Rpi as an IoT Device
Network programming with Raspberry Pi
- Pushing data to IoT webservice, examples:
- Xively Cloud services
- Zapier
Training Fee: INR 1499 only, payable on-the-spot.

- Laptop (Windows / Linux / Mac-OS)
- Raspberry Pi (Model A / B or B+)
- SD Card (with Adapter)
- USB Cable
- Ethernet Cable
- Wi-Fi dongle

Participants who already have the above hardware can bring their own.

1 Raspberry Pi (Model B+) : INR 3000
4GB SD Card (Sandisk or equivalent): INR 650
5V-3A mini USB Rpi Power Adapter: INR 250
USB Cable, Ethernet Cable: INR 150
USB Wi-Fi dongle: INR 750
Plastic Carry box: INR 99
Price: INR 4899 only.
Note: Power adapter and USB/Ethernet cables can be bought separately on-the-spot. For the rest, advance payment is a pre-requisite.
Last date for placing the order is 8th August.
