An ECK Worship Service is a weekly spiritual service of Eckankar, Religion of the Light and Sound of God. Each worship service, which is scheduled for an hour, focuses on a spiritual aspect of the ECK teachings, with original creative arts mixed in.
It is led by a member of the ECK clergy, beginning with a short reading from the ECK works, followed by a HU chant, a spiritual exercise which opens the heart to Divine Love, and ends with an informal discussion of the different spiritual principles (centered around the topic of the service) at work in our daily life. All in attendance are free to participate in the informal discussion.
Following the worship service, is a period of Fellowship and refreshments of about 45 minutes.
Other than the fourth Sunday of each month, when a 30-minute HU chant is held instead of a worship service, ECK Worship Services take place every Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Eckankar Center, 1200 E. Jackson Rd., Carrollton, TX 75006.
Come join us. The service is simply a way to meet others who are seeking to live a balanced spiritual life, bring more divine love into their lives, and explore other spiritual benefits of the teachings of Eckankar.
