What does "conservation photography" mean to you?

Inspiration from nature and commitment in it's preservation trough the craft of light capturing awe.

What is your favorite subject matter?

Hard to choose...(I love insects, being an entomologist) but I really like to find the uncommon perspective of nature around us, like colorful flowers in the dullness of a city park, or a beautiful bird perched on a cable. There is beauty where there is nature.

What camera do you currently use?

Currently a Nikon 5100 with a 18-55 mm. and a[masked] mm lenses. And as much as I can a Minolta x-370 with BW film because old school is always in fashion.

I am a biologist/author/teacher who happens to love photography and nature. I am always looking for a great spot to capture life with light, on paper or on screen.
