The Ecstatic Choir
No Experience Necessary... All are Welcome... We Sing for Fun!
YES- no experience necessary, no expectations (other than showing up, being present and putting a bit of attention into intention).

We sing many styles... African, folk, pop, jazz, broadway, gospel, barbershop, renaissance, blues, rock, originals, etc.

Everybody is welcome- all skill levels, no experience necessary.


Investment: $60 for 6 classes, including final party!

The choir will meet for 6 week sessions and finish with a party (we will invite friends and sing, party, celebrate and make general ecstatic merriment).

With this new format, I expect we'll have really great membership and lots of folks who will commit. How fantastically fun it will be to have a big group to sing together! I will prepare CD's or tracks you can download so that you can listen and learn parts before you come. I'll lead us through the process of learning about 5 or 6 songs together, or whatever we can do as a group, and then we'll put on a great party!

Members will be asked to commit to the entire 6 weeks (missing one is okay, more than one, not good for the group).

We meet on Tuesdays from 6:30-8pm at Whole Note Studio (4715 Broadway, Boulder- behind German Auto)
Only $10 per meeting & commit to 6 meetings per session- $60 per six-week session.
Adjoining room with blocks, toys, DVD/VCR, etc for kids.

This session is slightly different than other 6-week choir sessions, because we will be joining the Whole Note Studio annual party & student showcase on Fri, Dec 18th - we'll invite our friends, bring yummy things, sing & enjoy the show! For the remaining meetings, we'll meet to sing, socialize and go caroling, either on Pearl St., door to door, or both! Read more

Your organizer's refund policy for The Ecstatic Choir

Your organizer will refund you if:

  • Cancellation 1 week in advance of the start of the 6-week series. Also, refunds offered by special arrangement under special circumstances. Just talk to Michele.
