I'm going to be giving a talk on Doctrine 2 (http://www.doctrine-project.org/) this time and also my company Web Species (http://webspecies.co.uk/) is going to pay the drinks, as in free drinks for everyone. We are working on getting a venue for this, but I'm going to keep you posted.

Hi, I'll certainly be there if I'm free, any idea of the day of week / time you were thinking, or is it dependent on Venue? Refresh Edinburgh use the Voodoo Rooms for talks often, worth checking them out, they have a good space (with a bar!) Cheers, Ally

Just realised you are probably giving the talk at the next meetup!

Venue: my first suggestion was going to be the Outhouse on Broughton st. Fairly central and has a bookable upstairs room with a projector. I need to phone to find out more details, like if it's actually free then! Alternatively, if we don't want to meet in a bar I know some tech companies I can chase for a venue.

We need to change the venue for the drinks, since we're doing the talk at my office beforehand. How about the Thisle Street Bar around 8/8:30.
