The Edinburgh Danish Conversation Meetup welcomes Danish speakers of all abilities. Meet with Danish native speakers, improvers and learners in a relaxed, social setting in Edinburgh.

Hello, I worked in Jutland, Denmark in the mid-80s and retain a fond loyalty and affection for the Danes and the Danish language.

As time marches on my ability to hold a proper conversation in Danish gets that bit harder. I would like to be able to maintain/recover my Danish language abilities. This is my motivation for creating the Edinburgh Danish Conversation Meetup.

I hope to attract those on Meetup in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas who have expressed an interest in Danish Language. I propose to offer one social chat evening per month to let members meet, get to know one another and talk in a friendly and relaxed environment ... just the right environment to start the conversation flowing .... det ku' jo være spændende, ikke?!??

The MESSAGE BOARD will be used as a resource for all manner of information relating to Denmark and the Danes, as well as the place to post suggestions, ideas and comments for the Meetup itself.
