Let's talk about starting a podcast

I've received a few requests for a meetup on how to start a podcast, so let's kick off the fall season with that.

If you already have a podcast, as is the case for the majority of the members of this meetup, please come and share your wisdom with those who are interested in starting.

Here's how it's going to work: The podcasting veterans will be on one side of the room; the rookies will be on the other. If you're new to podcasting, bring your questions and we'll pose them to the people who have been at it for awhile.

Remember that we are at Cafe Rista in Grovenor this time around. There is parking there. You buy the drinks; we'll provide the treats. There will also be two great door prizes:

• A pair of flex passes from the University of Alberta Music department, good for six concert tickets, redeemable in any combination, to any of the mainstage concerts at Convocation Hall and the Winspear Centre in the 2016-17 season;

• A swag bag from CKUA Radio.

And everyone will go home (if you want) with a copy of the Podcast Canvas for planning a podcast.
