By bringing together educators, entrepreneurs, technologists, and education industry enthusiasts, EdTech Meetup CO seeks to create a collaborative space where people across sectors can work together to tackle challenges and explore meaningful solutions for the global opportunities in education.

EdTech Meetup CO was founded by Dan Carroll and Mark Philipps and inspired by the SF EduTech Meetup.  In 2014, a new organizer was required or this Meetup would be shut down.

In that void, Educelerate stepped in to save the group in parallel with its other local community organized Meetups in Chicago and the Twin Cities and Los Angeles.  In so doing, we strive to be good stewards of the legacy EdTech Meetup CO and to grow and develop it further into a rich ecosystem of entrepreneurs, investors and partners.

Just as EdTech Meetup CO offers the benefits of a membership based network, so does Educelerate with our website and live Meetup streams via Google Hangouts On-Air.

Educelerate is a Delaware not for profit with no sponsors or owners or any agenda other than supporting education innovation.  Please follow us @Educelerate, visit our website at or send us an email at
