This event featured some really great presentations. The crowd was mixed with regard to technical ability, and Oracle staff and attending MySQL gurus (thanks, Ronald!) were willing to field both technical and non-technical questions. I came away with some good performance tuning ideas and a better understanding of MySQL's new performance monitoring and optimization features.

Though it was all day, it was worth it for the info. I learned in one day some things which may have taken days to learn. Free food was a nice bonus!
