Caroling at Merwick Care Center

It holds a special place in our members' hearts, and several of you asked if we would be returning again this year.

Thanks to member Sue Bertomeu Albert, we have been asked if we would come again this year on December 22, meeting at 2pm in Main Lobby.

This event is absolutely open to teens and older kids who would love to sing or play and are mature enough to understand how to behave in this type of setting.

Merwick is near the new Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro.

The place is big, so there will be lots of opportunities to move around and sing the same songs to different people for about 2 hours. Singers and folks with portable instruments (guitars, percussion, etc) are needed. There are a couple of pianos, but not in all areas of the facility.

We will bring some song lyrics sheets - the music should be ppretty familiar to most of us. I may bring some in very large print in case residents/patients want to sing along and need their memories of familiar lyrics refreshed .
