FREE INTRODUCTORY CLASS

Classes begin at 2:15 PM. You are encouraged to show up early (2:00 PM) if it is your first day. This will give you time to change, ask questions, introduce yourself, etc. A typical class begins with a warm up of strengthening and stretching exercises, basic footwork drills to get everyone moving, and some practice of ukemi (the ability to fall and roll safely). New students are usually taken aside during the ukemi portion for one on one instruction; this assures that everyone moves at their own pace. Once we've warmed up, we begin with Ju Jitsu techniques. Different techniques are taught, and there are many variations of those techniques, so is kept challenging. As a student of this dojo, I pride myself on this concept. The students here are capable of (and make it a priority to) challenge senior students. At the same time we place an equal amount of importance on not overwhelming junior students. Each person is able to learn at their own pace.

**This meetup allows you to come to (1) introductory class to Ju Jitsu at no charge. You will be training with experienced members of the dojo. Any student who wants to attend more classes can sign up.
