Benchmarking, autoscaling, deployment automation

Target Technology Innovation Center will host the meetup, and talk about their Elasticsearch 'things'. Lobby doors close at 7:30, and no one will be down to open them for you, so if you are not there by 7:30, you are not getting in. Bicycle parking outside, in the Schwab building courtyard.

Elasticsearch developers Uri and Andrew Selden will present / do Q&A. They know everything.

Florian Leibert will talk about running Elasticsearch on Mesos: Apache Mesos is a cluster manager that provides efficient resource isolation and sharing across distributed applications, or frameworks. It can run Hadoop, MPI, Marathon, Chronos and Spark, and other applications on a dynamically shared pool of nodes. We show how to run ElasticSearch on Mesos using ElasticMesos

Mik Kocikowski from Target Corp will talk benchmarks, capacity planning, and deploying with Ansible.

Target will provide food & bevs.
