Spacemacs and Gnus

Details
This Wednesday at Noisebridge we're going to be learning about two cool pieces of software: Spacemacs and Gnus!
First off, Swaroop is going to give an introductory presentation to the Spacemacs Emacs kit.
Spacemacs is a user-friendly and well-documented Emacs kit that integrates the best Emacs packages out there. It uses Evil Mode (https://github.com/syl20bnr/spacemacs/blob/master/doc/DOCUMENTATION.md#evil) to combine the ergonomic editing features of Vim and Emacs with the flexibility of a lisp powered engine.
After that Ryan (yours truly) will give an overview of Gnus, from the initial setup, to going multiple-accounts, to reading yoru RSS and mailing lists, all the way down the rabbit hole to client-side filtering and scoring
Gnus is a flexible message reader running under GNU Emacs. It supports reading and composing both news and mail. In addition, it is able to use a number of web-based sources as inputs for its groups.
Like last time, we will be meeting at Noisebridge in the Church classroom. Walk in to the space, hang a left and go all the way to the back. Cheers!
After presentations, stick around to chat about EmacsConf, dinner meetup locations and more. See you all Wednesday! <3
