Join your fellow young professionals as we step onto foreign soil for an exciting evening at the Ambassador’s Residence from the Commonwealth of Dominica.
In a special cultural evening, we will recreate a visit to this Caribbean Jewel of elegance, charm, music, dance great food, laughter and more!

Tonight, the Ambassador has made special arrangement for this troupe to visit Washington DC and his residence for a private performance for us. LIVE CARIBBEAN BAND:
Join us for the live music of Image Band - one of the hottest and most well-known reggae/calypso/island bands around! They will take us on a fantastic musical journey to Dominica as we dance to their special Island music, participate in a limbo contest, and recreate an island atmosphere!
- NATIVE FOOD:
Enjoy a specially prepared buffet of authentic food native to Dominica. Including:
Tropical Island Slaw with Roasted Pinnaple
Cod Fish Stew
Coconut Curried Chicken
Caribbean Beef Stew
Rice and Peas

Enjoy a short film on the beautiful scenery, culture and people of Dominica.
Suggested Attire: Smart Casual. For example, khakis and sports shirts or summer dresses. No jeans or shorts, but ties and business attire are not necessary. This is an indoor AND outdoor event (weather permitting).
