Program
Ember Data - Progress update, Igor Terzic
Ember Data has seen lots of activity recently, culminating with the Ember Data 1.0.0beta8 release. Igor will give a brief talk about what progress has been made, what the current issues being addressed are, and what work needs to be done before shipping Ember Data 1.0
Trust the Source, Jonathan Collins Resources such as stack overflow and documentation can only get you so far. As newer frameworks like Ember.js are constantly improving, the source code is often the best place to go to get a full and accurate understanding of library features. It may be daunting at first, but reading and understanding the Ember source and exploring it with the Chrome debugger can be immensely valuable and massively boost productivity.
Dealing SVG and D3 in Ember, by Jeff Butsch
Jeff will talk about his process for creating rich data visualizations in Ember. Why use SVG or D3 at all? He will cover the integration points between the two libraries and how they're using them together at Netflix.
