  • This location is shown only to members

Get help, give help, and hack. This is an informal session with no agenda except letting people work on their Ember projects, and ask and answer questions.

"Ember Hackers in Residence" Alex Matchneer and Stefan Penner will be available to mentor and assist you.

Alex is a very active Ember contributor and has created the friendly templating language Emblem.js

Stefan is a member of the Ember.js core team and works at Yapp.

This meetup session will be hosted by SimpleReachSimpleReach is building a new measurement layer for the social web, empowering creators and distributors to develop content strategy, drive traffic and optimize spend.

Light food and drinks will be provided by Tutonic. Tutonic is a community marketplace for tutors and students. We connect students with tutors who best meet their needs.

There is limited space for this event.

Hey Luke - would you be willing to share your Ember port of the transloadit API lib? I'm also glad to contribute patches as needed.

Sounds good. I'll see what I can extract and open source.

I showed up for this event, but the door was locked, no note, and no bell. Simple Reach has no contact number on their web site, and there is no contingency in this invitation :(

There are two doors, the one on the right when facing the building, closer to the edge of it, is open—the left one (not glass) is locked. Are you sure you tried the right one?

Bruce, many apologies for the locked door. The building usually locks the doors at 9, but apparently that has been changed to 7. Next time there will be notes and numbers! Again, apologies.

I spent a lot of time trying to catch up, so only specific questions from me, promise!

    Hey everyone,

We had an awesome session last time with a lot of knowledgeable people at the meet up and I am looking forward tomorrow.

Just a heads up for tonight to make sure everyone gets some quality times with the mentors. Here are a few "rules":

    - Attendance: if you RSVP'ed, make sure you are coming, otherwise leave your spot to someone who needs as they are people on the waiting list. We will check attendance to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

    - Scope: make sure you can clearly state your issue at hand in a few minutes, and show that you researched it. Mentors are not here to develop the solution for you but more to put you on the right track and explain the concepts.

I am looking forward to meet you all tomorrow at 6pm!

Much as there's no real agenda to this thing, feel free to post any particularly topics you'd like to go over or tricky areas in Ember or whatever you'd like.
