Drinks & EmberConf Primer

Join us on Joyce on 4th St. SW for our fourth official meet-up for casual drinks (and food).

The itinerary:

Richard's Learnings at EmberConf.

Richard, having returned from EmberConf, will give us a primer on what we missed at EmberConf. Topics will range from neat tricks to hacks to make the Ember framework do what you need. He will go over the speakers, what he learned from them, and the workshops which he attended.

Demo: Real-time Blog and CMS using EmberJS

Next, Sean will demo his real-time CMS, which he developed using EmberJS, and take us for a tour inside a live Ember app. Audience members will be able to interact with their mobile devices (bring your phones!).

These short sessions will be followed by ongoing drinks, and probably some food.

Share drinks, eat food, and talk all things Ember with us! Enjoy local pints (any draft beef from Canmore or Calgary), a burger and fries, or a pound of wings, all on special for $6.50 as per Joyce's daily Wednesday special!
