I find so much of American Christianity to be perplexing... I am thrilled by new ways of doing and being "church" - particularly those that are guided by the teachings of Jesus.
I live in NE DC, so... none of the above, I'm afraid. Capitol Hill and U Street are probably the best of the options listed. Chinatown/Penn Quarter or Mount Vernon/NoMa (such as the Busboys and Poets on New York Ave) are better for me.
Monday or Tuesday night.
Hi friends, Been finding my way through a widely varying morass of church denominations and cultures since leaving the Anabaptist church I grew up in more than 20 years ago as I headed off to college. Ready for something new (or perhaps, old).
