What made you want to join the Emerging Christianity Conversation? What topic are interested in?

I am a life-long pastor's daughter raised in a conservative Christian home where we went to church 3-4 times a week and the secular world was kept as far as possible (I can't believe I missed out on a decade of amazing 80's music!). We didn't ask real questions, we were given pat answers. Over the course of the years I have come to despise pat answers and become cynical of organized religion. I don't want to be that way and, while I have kept my faith, I have lost some passion. I hope engaging in conversations will help to bring perspective and encourage an excitement again.

What's a good place to meet in DC: Cleveland Park, U Street, Capitol Hill or Dupont Circle?

U Street

What's a good day to meet? Tues, Wed, Thurs., or Sunday night?

Any evening.

I am a 3-year DC resident working within International Development. I am interested in meeting some people who are ready to have thoughtful conversations!
