How do you know that you are an Empath ?

* Do you feel better alone ?
* Do you tend to get tired or worn out in crowds ?
* Is it a pattern in your life for people to seek out your company to make them feel better ?
* Are people drawn to you to tell you all their problems ?
* Have you been told: "you are too sensitive?"

If so, there is a good possibility that you are an Empath.

The ability (( or, curse - as some might call it )) goes much deeper. Not only can an Empath tune into and absorb another person's emotions - which make them highly sought after to make others feel good. They can, also, affect and project emotions in their friends, families and complete strangers.

This group is designed to bring together those of us who could use help in establishing clear Empathic Boundaries with the people in our lives.

Meetings will be of three types:

~ A new member orientation which will also serve as a group discussion focused on sharing what has worked for us (( and what hasn't )) in establishing clear boundaries with our ability and using it for the highest good of all.

~ Small groups of 4-6 empaths and myself working one-on-one to develop a clear strategy that works for the individual's unique needs

~ And, occasionally, speakers on various topics related to Empathic Boundaries will be brought in to share their knowledge.


The best advice I can give all empaths struggling with this ability is to spend time each day Grounding Yourself and your energy into Mother Earth. This will help to process anything you may have picked up. And, also, begin to provide preventative protection for you instead of scrambling to discharge what you have already picked up. If you have no idea what grounding means, start with this technique:

Go out into nature, if you can. Close your eyes, uncross your legs and imagine roots coming out of your feet and going down into the earth. Go to the center of the earth if you feel you can and anchor your energy wherever you stop and secure it with the visualization of roots. From there, you can begin to release anything you may have been holding onto that no longer serves you. In fact, state that last sentence as an intent. There is much more that could be done at this point - such as connecting to source through your crown chakra. But, for now, just begin with this exercise until you feel you are ready to go forward.

I, also, offer one on one consulting sessions on how to permanently get your energy back from the people in your life and never let it be taken again.


I speak from first hand experience that you can not continue to be the one in your circle of family/friends to take all the "excess emotions/energy/burdens." Don't wait until you are overwhelmed to do something about it.
