The Empowered & Chic Collective is a space for women in New York City between the ages of 21-40 to network, in order to empower and support each other on our journeys towards success. This group includes a series of monthly meetups where we get to empower in person, preferably over a good dish and a cocktail!
This group was created in August 2011 as a Google Group, but we are seeking to expand our membership through Meetup.com. The group of women already participating in this group are high-spirited and ambitious. Many are entrepreneurial in spirit or in practice. Also, the members of this group are women who care about helping others as well as themselves. The meetups in this group are typically themed with a topic connecting to one's personal growth and development, and in 2012 we plan to participate in other activities focused on the betterment of ourselves and our communities.
