Etudes for Erlang

A meetup to work through Etudes for Erlang (http://chimera.labs.oreilly.com/books/1234000000726). Ideally attendees would work through the etude before the meetup, but that isn't strictly required. The meetings discuss one or two of the etudes, with an emphasis on the important parts and a discussion among attendees about their experience with the etude. Hosted by Andrew Turley.

June 11 - Etudes 1 & 2

June 18 - Etude 3

June 25 - Etudes 4 & 5

July 2 - Etude 6

July 9 - Etude 7

July 16 - Etude 8

July 23 - Etude 9

July 30 - Etude 10

August 6 - Etude 11

August 13 - Etude 12

Hey all, just a reminder (or news for you if you missed it): We decided to move the meetup to Monday next week. Also, we only covered chapter 4 this week, so we'll be covering chapter 5 next week.

Hey everybody, the just a reminder that this week we'll be covering chapter 4, Logic and Recursion (http://chimera.labs.oreilly.com/books/1234000000726/ch04.html). If you have time, please take a look at the exercises before the meetup, and maybe even try to implement your own solutions. For more information on these topics, take a look at chapter 4 of "Introducing Erlang", chapter 3 of "Erlang Programming", chapter 3 of "Programming Erlang", sections 2.6 and 2.15 of "Erlang and OTP in Action", and chapters 3 and 5 of "Learn You Some Erlang For Great Good!" (http://learnyousomeerlang.com/syntax-in-functions, http://learnyousomeerlang.com/recursion). I'm looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for someone relatively senior at Erlang for a new and exciting project at a large bank in downtown NYC. I hate spamming meet-up groups, but this is a rare and interesting opportunity, so let me know if you'd like more information. Thank you.

    Best,

    Elina
