Started in San Diego, California, with new locations every few months, our monthly meeting group invites all different professions who serve in the Estate Planning Arena. If there is no group near you, contact us to start one!

Because our area of service is specific to serving the elderly or disabled, in an Estate Planning context, there may be better contacts than the average networking or chamber of commerce group. We benchmark our offering against all other business networking opportunities, so we know we are offering the best value in beginning and continuing great professional relationships.

Please join us, professionals in the estate planning arena, for breakfast once a month. Our purpose is to really get to know each other as client resources and referral sources. We participate in collaborative activities at our tables, fun introductions and sometimes we work on case studies together. No long presentations or continuing education. Instead, we spend our time getting to know each other in a stimulating conversation environment.

This is efficient and effective networking for highly ethical professionals.

Many different kinds of professionals attend our meetings: Attorneys, Financial Advisors, Professional Fiduciaries, CPA's Geriatric Care Managers, Senior Residence Directors, Board and Care Owners, Medi-Cal and Medicare Specialists, Home Care Assistance Providers, Nurses and Doctors, Planned Giving Directors, Bankers, Trust Officers, Relocation Specialists... Each and every professional who serves the Senior or Disabled, who have trusts or conservatorships, is welcome! If you don't see your specialty here, come to breakfast and introduce yourself to the Chairman!

You will have the opportunity to submit your profile for admission to the group. Please answer all the questions and note how your services benefit the Estate Planning community. We are not admitting legal document services, "Do It Yourself" trust services or entities that offer free Trust documents with the sale of financial products. All requests to attend breakfast are subject to approval.

By joining this Meetup group (see below), you will benefit by getting to know other professionals in person. You commit to relationship building in a meaningful and sustainable way. There is no membership directory provided, so it is about creating relationships, not mailing lists. If you know of a professional with whom you enjoy working or would like to get to know better, an invitation to breakfast is a great way to show your fellow professional how much you value what they do. We are experiencing getting more referrals because our fellow professionals are now more aware of what we do and how we do it.

The people who join this group are serious about growing/improving their own practices/businesses and about getting to know other professionals before referring them to their respective clients. Not one professional can offer everything his or her client needs. We must develop trustworthy referral resources to serve our clients best.

Annual Membership is $250 per year, breakfast fees are separate and based on the cost at that specific venue. You may attend breakfast 3 times as a "Guest", and then you will be asked to join as an Annual Member.

What are the benefits of Membership?

· Every month we provide a structured professional meeting. Be prepared with a short introduction of yourself, have plenty of business cards, pen and paper. We may do a case study, work on our marketing efforts or collaborate in some other way.

· Our program has been specifically developed to be more effective than other generic business networking groups.

· We keep up to date on the best practices in internet marketing and share those advantages with our members.  Through our group and your participation, you have additional legitimate "internet presence" that you can't even buy for yourself.

· We have benchmarked our membership and breakfast fees, so we know we are more cost effective than other groups for those who serve in the Estate Planning Arena. We make the most of your precious time out of the office!!

· We do not publish a membership list. We recommend that you create a Meetup profile and a Linked-In profile, if you don't already have one. The opportunity we offer is to meet other professionals in person, over a meal. Please do not use our member information for mailers, spam emails and that type of marketing.

· Although you are welcome to bring new people to our group, you are not required to do so. We benefit you by making it easy for you to invite others with emails and other invitation tools.

· We create activities for you, to stimulate great conversations. This is why our networking opportunities are excellent. Every meeting has a collaborative activity designed to get everyone at your table involved in the discussion.

· Estate Planning Group Network (EPGN) and Marguerite Lorenz, CTFA, CLPF, President of EPGN, is actively promoting the group and is always bringing you more great professionals to get acquainted with. We do this by way of the Internet, personal invitations and word of mouth. Select a group in your area, or contact us to start one where you are. See you at breakfast!!
