A History of Ideas through Western Art

This will be a whirlwind tour of art history from the pre-Renaissance to the modern age. We will explore how religious ideals, thoughts and history shaped what we see on the canvas. At the end of the series, you should be able to look at most art and tell when it was created and what influences shaped its unique perspective.
