What we’re about
Aristotle asked "What is good?" He thought that "good" is using things for their intended purposes, such as using non-Greeks as slaves.
Obviously, people's answers vary wildly with time, culture and individual experiences.
Therefore, we read short selections about issues of the day, and talk about them.
There are about a dozen very nice participants, thoughtful folk who are willing to ask and discuss what is good and what should we do about them?

See all- Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the MADNESS OF CROWDSNeeds location
Since America is in a hot fever of madness right now, I thought I’d read up on the history of them. This famous review was published in 1852, republished countless times and is indeed a classic. It tells the stories of extraordinary delusions that have bedeviled masses of people. A few of the most interesting but least familiar, I’ve summarized below. Can you say Bernie Maddoff, Iraq War, Sam Bankman-Fried, January 6th, Donald Trump?
