This is the night when people with startup ideas attempt to pitch their business model in the most compelling way for the chance to take the wild card spot in the Concept Stage Round of the 2014 Willamette Angel Conference.
This is a high-energy, tightly timed event. Pitches last for just over three minutes and presenters must keep up with slides auto-advancing every 15 seconds. Audience members will cast a vote for the best pitch of the night and the winner will present at the Willamette Angel Conference in Eugene on Thursday, May 8th for the chance to take home a cash prize of $4000, sponsored by Palo Alto Software and designPort, plus legal services from Endeavor Law Group.
People opting to pitch should have at least a few of these:
Identified a problem and developed a concept for a solution
Clear value proposition
Customer validation
A simple logo
Prototype

Identified competitors
Milestones for success
