A mother who lost her child to DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) is putting together a 2.5 mile run around the lake at Lagoon Valley in Vacaville, CA. DIPG is a brain cancer that affects children between the ages of 5-10 yrs old. The tumor is located in the brain stem making surgery impossible. EuroSunday has been invited to put together a car gathering at the event. The honk of the horn will indicate the start of the run. I will put together a caravan from the East Bay. We will most likely meet in Walnut Creek or Concord and will start off from there. More details on the caravan spot to come.
